Finally A Director!

The one thing they don’t tell you in the beginning of your adventurous trek into the world of film making is how much patience is required and for someone not particularly blessed with the trait is can be mind numbing frustrating.

I will say that the up side to experiencing these slow periods is that I seem to push harder to go forward and it (so far) has worked positively for me. An example of this occurred in between this post and the former but I am glad to report that two significant developments have taken place.

The first of course is revealed in the title above, we have retained the services of the extraordinarily talented and experienced Jon Myers. As if that wasn’t an achievement on its own, merely days later I can also report that the new lesbian heartthrob, Tracy Redington (IMDb) has joined the cast.

In fact her first self-produced lesbian-themed feature film is expected to hit the public arena very soon. To catch up on all things “Lala” visit their website , www.lisforlala.com.

Welcome to Our Blog!

Hello everyone. If you are new to us and you haven’t a clue what is ‘When Ashes Fall’ all about, let’s correct that. WAF is a feature film in the making. I am Tamara Spicer, the writer and producer, everyone calls me Tee and so will you.

WAF came from an idea I had for a screenplay and what began as just one idea has thus far developed a short film called, Angel’s Ashes, which serves as the precursor to the story. Continue reading
